Reverse Therapy

Reverse Therapy teaches people how to increase awareness of the body and understand the reasons for bodily distress and the appearance of symptoms such as fatigue and unexplained pain. This could refer to the need to make environmental changes, improve emotional expression, reverse attitudes, or push for lifestyle balance.

One of the most important aspects of  Reverse Therapy work is ensuring that the client leaves each session feeling supported and understood, and that they know how to take the first steps towards making the changes necessary to help them reach their full potential.

Kathleen Kettles

As a Reverse Therapist and solution-focused psychotherapist Kathleen is passionate about helping people free themselves from debilitating symptoms by teaching strategies and techniques to move them from illness to health.

Some of the techniques involved  include:

  • Understanding the reasons for why symptoms appear
  • Raising awareness of situations which can trigger distress
  • Learning how to 'read' Bodymind
  • Resolving the breakdown between Bodymind and the Headmind
  • Using Mindfulness to stay in Present Moment Awareness
  • Staying out of negative Headmind states
  • Developing emotional intelligence
  • Being more active and assertive
  • Balancing personal needs with those of others
  • Restoring the life-work balance
